My massage skills are primarily that of a Deep Tissue and Neuromuscular therapist. I became certified as a Massage and Bodywork Practitioner in 1998 from the North Carolina School of Natural Healing, Asheville, NC and I have been Licensed in North Carolina since 2002.
I have a B.S. in Psychology, further connecting me to the client through mind, body, sprit connection.
I began my journey as a massage therapist at Hot Springs Spa in Hot Springs, NC. This position allowed me to gain vast amounts of experience as hundreds of people visited Hot Springs Spa seeking relief from pain through healing mineral waters of the natural mineral springs followed by massage therapy.
I was among the first crew of massage therapists to help open the Grandover Resort Spa in Greensboro, NC in 1999. After gaining more experience while working with all body types and muscle ailments, I eventually moved to Arizona and worked at a Five Star resort, before my husband and I returned to Cleveland County. I began building my clientele base at Salon Palazzo Day Spa, in 2002. I expanded my knowledge of the human body by working at a local Chiropractic center, where I worked with individuals who suffered with pain associated from car accidents and various other injuries. Spirit guides me with strong, firm hands, to seek out the muscular tension in the body and promote muscle wellness. I became a Certified Meditation and Energy Healing Practitioner in 2003 from the North Carolina School of Natural Healing. I am Certified as a Reiki III practitioner and a Supreme Science Qigong, Level 1 instructor. I hold many certificates of continuing education for massage therapy, including Deep Tissue Methods, Myofascial Mobilization Techniques along with many other massage and bodywork techniques. I give you my undivided attention and strive to help each person overcome pain, due to muscular tension. I look forward to having the pleasure of working with you.
